Compare the architecture as well as the price
A regional bucket, a location-managed service and a CDN-backed storage zone solve overlapping problems. They do not promise equal latency, throughput or durability. The table deliberately has no composite score. Open a profile to inspect the official sources and assess the operations your application needs.
The regional list is a verified subset, not an exhaustive inventory. Positive filters require a documented match. Object-lock status is unknown in this launch dataset and is not offered as a filter. “S3 API” describes an interface family, not full behavioral equivalence; consult the compatibility guide.
For a public workload, start with images or downloads. For private data, work backward from a restore plan. If placement is a requirement, read European storage options before interpreting a region label.
