Microsoft has set November 1 as the general-availability date for Copilot in Microsoft 365 for enterprise customers.
The announcement also describes a broader Copilot experience across Windows and other Microsoft products. Those launches have different dates and product requirements.
Before budgeting for it
- Check the eligible Microsoft 365 subscription.
- Confirm the separate Copilot licence and rollout requirements.
- Review access permissions for the data users can reach.
The September announcement is a future availability date, not a statement that every customer can use the enterprise product immediately. A productivity-suite subscription and its AI add-on also need separate budget lines when comparing the options.
