OVHcloud adds Standard Object Storage in Paris 3-AZ

Managed object storage gains a three-zone option within the Paris public-cloud region.

OVHcloud Public Cloud →

OVHcloud has introduced Standard Object Storage in its Paris three-availability-zone region. The addition brings a managed storage service to the provider’s multi-zone deployment offering.

For applications using buckets for uploaded files or other persistent objects, the placement of stored data matters as much as where compute runs.

Questions for a storage move

  • Select the intended storage class and region explicitly.
  • Check S3 client support and application permissions.
  • Budget requests and delivery using the relevant service’s current terms.

A new resilience option is not a reason to mix rates from different regions or storage classes. The OVHcloud profile links to its current catalogue and pricing; this new product is not silently added to the existing six-service calculator.
