Salesforce has announced general availability for Agentforce. The platform adds tools for building agents that can work with business data and take actions within supported workflows.
The release uses Salesforce’s existing platform capabilities, including workflows and custom code, rather than presenting the agent as a separate general-purpose cloud server.
Choose a bounded workflow
A useful evaluation starts with a specific task, the data it can access and the actions it is allowed to take. Human review and a clear recovery path matter when an automated step changes a customer record or performs a business action.
Teams should also check product and usage charges. The new capability does not imply that every existing CRM licence includes unrestricted agent execution.
