Scaleway has announced its arrival in Italy with a new cloud region in Milan. The announcement forms part of an expansion beyond its established French, Polish and Dutch regions.
The Milan plan includes three availability zones, giving customers another location to consider for European cloud workloads.
What to verify for a deployment
- Availability of the exact compute, storage and database products required.
- How the application’s resources are distributed across zones.
- Region-specific prices and network paths to users.
A regional launch does not mean every product or zone is ready at the same moment. The existing Scaleway Object Storage calculator remains a Paris Standard Multi-AZ estimate; it should not be reused as an independently checked Milan quote.
