Microsoft 365 packages finished work applications and cloud services. Business plans differ in whether they include desktop Office applications and in their identity, device and security features. Administrators manage users and policies rather than the servers behind Exchange or Teams.
How pricing works
The selected licence, user count, billing commitment and add-ons determine cost. Teams packaging can differ by market or plan, and Copilot has its own licensing requirements. Compare the actual bundle needed by the team rather than treating every Microsoft 365 plan as identical.
Choosing a setup
Microsoft 365 is useful when Office applications and Microsoft’s identity or device-management ecosystem fit the organization. Google Workspace is the relevant finished-software alternative. Azure is a separate infrastructure and application-platform account.
