PostHog combines tools for understanding what users do and how an application behaves. Product analytics, replay, feature flags and experiments answer different questions but can use the same project context. The cloud service has US and EU hosting choices.
How pricing works
Each product has its own usage unit and allowance. Analytics events are different from replay recordings or feature-flag requests. Sampling, collection rules and the paid-versus-free arrangement matter more than a single combined event count.
Choosing a setup
PostHog is useful when product behaviour and release experiments are part of the development workflow. Sentry is a relevant application-debugging alternative and Grafana Cloud serves infrastructure observability. Data collection still needs appropriate access and privacy settings.
