Where it fits
Scaleway Object Storage is useful when European deployment and euro billing are part of the requirements. The chosen storage class matters: Standard Multi-AZ and One Zone have different resilience arrangements and prices.
Choose compute and bucket locations together, especially when the application frequently reads its own stored files.
What the calculator covers
- Paris Standard Multi-AZ at the published hourly rate.
- A constant-capacity 730-hour month, rounded to whole GB.
- Included requests and ingress, plus the available outbound allowance.
Results stay in EUR. Other regions, One Zone, Glacier and restore charges are not included. The GB unit uses a decimal interpretation; a changing hourly capacity can also differ from this steady-state estimate.
Before connecting a client
Check the intended regional endpoint, authentication, multipart uploads and list pagination with the actual SDK version.
For location requirements, include backups, support access and any external delivery service in the review. A bucket’s location is only one part of the arrangement.
