Sentry helps developers investigate failures and performance problems through data sent by application SDKs. Errors, traces, replays and logs can provide different views of the same incident. The hosted service is separate from the infrastructure where the monitored application runs.
How pricing works
Plan fees and selected data volumes determine cost. Event allowances, sampling and retention matter when a busy application sends large amounts of telemetry. Optional debugging features and enterprise access controls should be priced alongside the data products actually used.

Sentry fits teams investigating application-level issues. Grafana Cloud provides a broader metrics, logs and traces approach, while PostHog connects product usage and other application signals. Choose the questions to answer before enabling every collection feature.
