UpCloud supplies virtual servers and storage alongside managed Kubernetes and databases. A Cloud Server leaves application and operating-system maintenance with the customer. Managed products handle more of that specific platform while the team still controls application code and data.
How pricing works
Server plans vary by CPU, memory and storage. The pricing page also separates managed services and their capacity. Included transfer does not make load balancers, backups or every storage product free; those components still belong in the deployment budget.
Choosing a setup
UpCloud is worth comparing for teams choosing VM-based infrastructure or a managed Kubernetes environment. Its company location and the chosen data-centre location are different facts: select the deployment region needed by the actual application.
